Payments are only possible by credit card or iDEAL.

How new Brexit trading agreements may affect your order if you are based in the EU (updated: April 2024)

The entire distribution supply chain is currently under stress due to the impact of changing Brexit trading arrangements. Orders sent from the UK to the EU may be charged with customs fees.

AUP is IOSS registered, which means that there should be no additional customs fees for orders under €150. Above this, the import fee currently stands at approximately 20-25 EUR and can increase with the value of your order. The fee can also vary from country to country, according to their customs and tax structures.

Many of these issues are out of our control, but AUP are in regular discussions with Wiley who are doing everything they can to make the process of distributing books into the EU as smooth as possible.

Mandatory Telephone Number

For many of our preferred courier partners, delivery cannot be executed without a telephone number. Amsterdam University Press will only share your telephone number with the delivery service so that your order can be fulfilled.

Costs

For postage orders, AUP charges shipping costs:

Orders within the Netherlands and Belgium:

• Under €20,- shipping costs are €2,50 per book;
• No shipping costs for orders from €20,-.

Orders throughout rest of Europe:

• €5,50 for the first book, €4,- for each additional book.

Orders in the rest of the world:

• €9,- for the first book, €4,50 for each additional book.
