The international conference, a meeting point for scholars and experts across the discipline is entitled 'Emergencies: Media in an Unpredictable World'. AUP Celebrates 30 Years of Film Culture in Transition

Established by Professor Thomas Elsaesser and launched in 1994, we are delighted to celebrate the 30th anniversary of our Film Culture in Transition book series.

To commemorate this occasion, we will organise a workshop during the NECS Conference on Friday 28 June (16:00-17:00). With the participation of the series editors and authors/editors who have published in Film Culture in Transition, we will engage in a forward-looking dialogue that reflects on the series' impact and envisions the future of film culture in the context of contemporary global emergencies.
