Tony Mason

Tony has a great deal of experience in commissioning academic books in the Social Sciences. He worked at Manchester University Press on the Politics, International Relations, Sociology and International Law lists for over eighteen years.

At AUP Tony is aiming to build a cutting-edge list in the Social Sciences. He is keen to learn about new areas of research and is always happy to discuss new proposals and ideas, for monographs, edited collections, series and Handbooks. He welcomes proposals on politics, international relations, migration and the movement of people, austerity, populism, the rise of the Far Right, borders, racism and social change, social theory, capitalism, women and gender.
