Temenuga Trifonova, Associate Professor of Cinema and Media Studies at York University, is the author of The Figure of the Migrant in Contemporary European Cinema (2020), Warped Minds: Cinema and Psychopathology (2014), The Image in French Philosophy (2007), and the edited volumes Screening the Art World (2022), Contemporary Visual Culture and the Sublime (2017), and European Film Theory (2008). In Fall 2023 Trifonova will join UCL (University College London) as Associate Professor of Creative Arts and Humanities.
