What do employers consider to be the main consequences of ageing personnel? Do they stimulate older workers to continue working until or even beyond the statutory retirement age? Have organisations been changing their recruitment and retention behaviour towards older workers over time? And what can governments do - according to employers - to increase labour force participation of older workers?
This study addresses the employers' perspective on an ageing workforce, considering and comparing the attitudes and behaviour of Dutch employers with those of employers in Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Sweden and the UK.
