Mónika Ambrus

Mónika Ambrus has degrees in law, literature (with an additional specialisation in theatre studies) and Finno-Ugric studies (specialisation in Estonian studies). She obtained her PhD in law at the Erasmus School of Law in the Netherlands, where she later worked as lecturer of international law. She also worked at the University of Groningen, the Netherlands and at the Institute of Legal Studies at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences in Budapest. She has published on various fields of international law, such as human rights law, comparative law, law of genocide, environmental law, water law and governance, and judicial decision-making. At AUP and CEUP, Mónika is responsible for the law section. She welcomes proposals on any legal topics in the fields of international and European law that are genuinely innovative and ground-breaking, including interdisciplinary studies as well. In addition, she is also interested in receiving proposals on the theoretical aspects of political science and international relations, global governance, international institutions and diplomacy.
