Yulia Laktionova

Yulia has a BA degree in Art Criticism from the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine and a Masters in Journalism from the National Taras Shevchenko University of Kyiv. Art and children’s books used to be her primary focus. On behalf of the Ukrainian Book Institute, she participated in diplomatic missions and curated different programs to promote reading and literature.

Due to the Russian full-scale invasion in Ukraine, Yulia moved to Amsterdam. Within AUP she is responsible for the review process, publishing announcements and providing complimentary copies. She is pleased to discuss meaningful essays, reports, and publications about Ukrainian history and culture that can be translated and published by AUP.
