Mirte Liebregts

Mirte Liebregts studied Ancient Greek and Latin Languages and Literatures (University of Amsterdam, Oxford University) and obtained her PhD at Radboud University in Nijmegen. She examined the history of a publication which aimed to make ‘Classical’ literature accessible to a general audience: the bilingual book series the Loeb Classical Library.

Mirte deems it important that academic research is also accessible in Dutch. As commissioning editor at AUP, she is interested in receiving proposals for Dutch-language academic books.
